Belgian Centric Companies to integrate into Centric Belgium N.V.
Antwerp, 8 December 2009 - On 1st January 2010 Centric will integrate all of its Belgian operating companies into a single legal entity. This regards the companies Centric Infrastructure Services, Centric IT Solutions Belgium, Centric Managed ICT Services, Centric Retail Solutions, Centric System & Services and Orqua. The new name of the integrated organisation will be Centric Belgium N.V.. Centric Belgium N.V. will have its headquarters in Antwerp, with operational branches in Antwerp, Lokeren, Oostkamp, Waregem and Zaventem.
By integrating these companies Centric will be bundling its various competencies into a single, strong formula to better anticipate the needs of its clients. All IT expertises will then be found in one organisation. In doing so Centric Belgium will become a major player in the Belgian IT market with 650 employees and a turnover of EUR 90 million in 2008. Centric Belgium serves some 1,000 clients in Belgium, from SMEs to multinationals.
The four most important competencies of Centric Belgium are: IT services, management and optimisation of systems and infrastructures for large and medium-sized companies; IT professionals, suppliers of high level IT consultants; software engineering, high quality custom solutions; IT solutions, building of standard software for niche markets such as construction, retail and supply chain. Software development will be done in close collaboration with similar subsidiaries of Centric in the Netherlands.
